Laura and Matt Engagement Photoshoot

What do you get when you mix a bit of rain, a derelict castle and a couple of happy people willing to brave the mud? You get some amazing engagement photos, that's what!

A few days before their photoshoot Laura and Matt suggested that we headed over to Donnington Castle near Newbury to capture some images. I was rather excited at the prospect but we were all a little apprehensive about how busy it would be. We were ideally looking for some intimate pictures without any tourists lurking in the background. In a way, the weather came to our rescue! Had it been a sunny and bright Saturday then it was sure to have been busy. As luck would have it, we had a bit of light rain - no more than a drizzle - and it seemed to keep everybody else away.

Laura and Matt were so lovely to work with, jumping over fallen logs when asked and deftly working with the props that I thrust at them! I honestly can't wait to shoot their Wedding next year.
