Family Photoshoot

Earlier this year I had the pleasure of photographing Lauren and Simon's wedding. Lauren got back in touch recently to enquire about my family photoshoots as her brother was coming back to visit and she wanted to get some family photos as he wasn't able to make it to the wedding.

We decided to head up to Caen Hill Locks to get some relaxed portraits. Unfortunately we were very nearly scuppered by the weather as, right on queue, a rather large rainstorm decided to come and park itself right over the top of us! We took shelter and waited it out and, luckily, after about 15 minutes, the shower cleared and we wandered over to the locks to get some photos - umbrellas and raincoats in tow!

The rain stayed away for the next hour while we wandered along the path using the locks, bridges and canal boats as a backdrop. It was also fun to use the umbrellas and hats (which they had brought along with them) as props. Everyone was happy to mess around and strike silly poses which made the shoot an awful lot of fun!

Family photoshoots like this are the perfect way to capture some relaxed yet fun images which make fantastic Christmas presents! If you are interested in booking a photoshoot or purchasing a gift voucher for someone to use towards their own photoshoot then please contact me.
