At the end of March, Lauren and Simon were married in the beautiful St. Matthews Church at Rowde. Lauren had asked me to come to the house in the morning so that I could capture some of the preparations. The bridesmaids certainly kept me entertained as they were getting increasingly excited as the time of the wedding drew near. Somehow we managed to keep them from leaping on Lauren when she appeared in her wedding dress and their reaction to seeing her was just priceless!

In a unique twist because her brother couldn't be at the wedding, Lauren had brought along a cardboard cut-out so that we could at least get a few photos of him! He proved to be quite a hit with the ladies and kept a solemn eye over proceedings during the reception!

The Church service was followed by the reception at Calne Town Hall, although we did manage to sneak off to take some photographs before arriving at the reception without being missed for too long! Unfortunately the lighting at the Town Hall was rather dim and I had to push the iso setting on the camera to its limit in order to get any decent photos. But it was worth it - some of my favourite images from the evening ended up being of the bouquet toss - the expressions and outstretched hands are just fantastic!
