Last weekend I headed outside with these brave girls from the Showgirl Academy in order to capture some photos to promote their Christmas shows. It wasn't the warmest of days so they must have all been freezing! We were a little worried about the number of people who might see us all running around in the woods but luckily the threatening rainclouds seemed to keep most people away (although we did manage to surprise a group of ramblers who stumbled across our little photoshoot)! It was a lot of fun and I think we managed to get some great images. 

One of the things we tried to do was add some fake snow into some of the shots. We tried various things including shredded paper and rice. Unfortunately neither of these methods worked too well - the rice fell too fast whereas the paper was dispersed too quickly by the wind. So to make up for the lack of snow I have tried to enhance some of those shots during post-processing. I think it works quite well!
