Yesterday I made my way up to London to photograph Caro Emerald for BBC Radio 2. It was going to be a long day and I didn't really help myself by booking a ridiculously early train (my alarm went off at 4.55am)!

Caro Emerald was featured on Radio 2 at various intervals throughout the day, soundchecking on the Claudia Winkleman show in the morning, being interviewed by Simon Mayo on Drivetime and all this in addition to the main concert at 8pm.

I really do enjoy being involved throughout the whole day, documenting each stage by taking photos for use on the website and elsewhere.

It was a fantastic show and Caro looked absolutely amazing throughout the whole day. You can listen again to the concert (and all of the other appearances) on the Radio 2 website. You can also watch the concert on the BBC iPlayer (which coincidentally uses my photograph for the holding page!).

edit: Shortly after the broadcast of the concert I was told the Hello! Magazine had requested to use an image in one of their articles. I didn't get my hopes up but today I saw that the photo did make it to print! I'm absolutely thrilled!
