Bath Photowalk - Queens Square

On Sunday 2nd May we had arranged a photowalk around central Bath. The aim of the walk was to finish at the Bath Photowalk exhibition at the Fringe Arts Bath Festival. Not really knowing what route to take we decided to arrange the meeting point at Queens Square and a route soon fell into place, meandering around some of the back streets, past the Theatre Royal and the Spa Baths before getting to the exhibition.

By chance, the Bedlam weekend was also going to be taking place - a number of street performances spontaneously occurring within Kingsmead Square and Saw Close - coincidentally part of our route!

We had a beautiful day for it. Many of our regular photowalkers were in attendance and we also had quite a few first-timers who had decided to join us for the walk.

I had originally set the walks up as a social event and, as quite often happens, I spent so long chatting to people and making sure that everyone kept to the suggested route and didn't get too lost when we hit Kingsmead Square, I didn't actually take very many photos! In fact, I'm sure there was a huge amount of street performances that I missed!

It was a great day - here are a few of my favourite images from the walk.
