I've been very busy with weddings recently - in fact over the last four weeks I've photographed three weddings, probably the most intensive period of weddings that I've had since I started up the business!

The first wedding took place in Henley-On-Thames. Emma and Alex were married in the River and Rowing Museum overlooking the Thames. I spent the morning at Emma's parents house, taking photos of the dress, bouquet and other details and managing to get a few shots of Emma and her parents in their garden.

It was then a quick dash over to the venue. The function room had floor-to-ceiling windows which meant that the room was flooded with light and throughout the ceremony you were able to look out through the window, past the willow trees to the Thames beyond. It was a beautiful ceremony which included some very personal (and amusing) readings. Following the ceremony, everyone had the chance to take a trip on The Alaska, a steam boat which had been laid on for the guests by Emma's parents. We were so lucky with the weather - the week in the run-up to the wedding had been grey and dismal but on the day of the wedding the sun decided to stage its reappearance in a spectacular fashion!
