Mim's Flower Shed

The super-talented Marie is the lady behind Mim's Flower Shed. Based in Frampton Cotterell, Bristol her studio is located in a yard which contains a whole multitude of photographic opportunities.

Last weekend we had arranged to get some photos of her Mother's Day bouquets as well as capture a few environmental portraits and documentary shots of the bouquets being produced. I was spoilt for choice for props and backgrounds. A red tractor in the corner of the yard caught my eye in particular and I couldn't resist grabbing a number of images of the bouquets propped upon it! We were especially lucky with the weather! It was gorgeous - a very welcome change from the dreary and dismal weather we have had for the last few months.

I was most excited to capture some environmental portraits of Marie making a couple of bouquets. She was happy for me to snap away while she was busy concentrating on arranging her pretty blooms and I think these are my favourite images from the day.

Marie keeps a blog updating followers on her journey as a new business and it is well worth a read and if you are looking for a special bouquet for Mothers Day then you should definitely drop her a line.

If you would like to commission an environmental portrait photoshoot for your business then please get in touch.
