Jessica and Samuel were married on a scorching hot day at the start of July. After the ceremony, which took place at All Saints in Sutton Benger, there was time for a quick drink in the Bell House across the road before I departed with Jessica and Samuel to visit a cornfield just outside of the village for some photographs.

It was then onto Spittleborough Farmhouse for the reception. The marquee had been transformed with a multitude of copper-themed items - I was in detail heaven following my recent rebrand! The entire wedding included a variety of family-oriented DIY projects with the sweet buffet and swing cake stand (yes, the cake was sat on a swing!) created by the Groom's father.

With the temperature creeping up towards 30°C, it was really amusing to see everyone hiding in the shade during the drinks reception. Thankfully Jessica and Samuel had provided a large number of hay bales for their guests to sit on and, whether by design or circumstance, they all ended up in a long line in the shade of the trees!

The evening saw the arrival of an ice-cream van which went down particularly well and also a bucking bronco to keep their guests entertained. It was such a fun and relaxed day. It was the first time that I had photographed a wedding at Spittleborough and it was great to see how the space had been transformed - it definitely was a brilliant venue for such a sunny day.

Below are a few of my favourite photos from the day. The full set of images can be found here (the password can be obtained from Jessica or Samuel).
